Birth-18 mos.  Registration Required.

A short, sweet, 20 minute story time designed especially for babies and their caregivers. Stories and music provide interaction for the babies with time afterwards for caregivers to talk and share with each other. 

 

FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL: 

--Reimagine School Readiness Program-For families with children ages Birth through 8 years old. Earn a free literacy kit to keep for your child!  Each kit contains books, manipulatives, and activities from Alabama Public Library Service.   How? 

  • First, sign up to participate in Beanstack HERE.   (Pick North Shelby Library as your library to get credit and be sure to include your child's age so they can receive the correct kit).
  • Second, attend 3 qualifying Reimagine School Readiness activities at the North Shelby Library during the month of April to receive a participation code!   
  • Third, record your 3 codes in Beanstack. 
  • Lastly, speak to a North Shelby Library staff member to arrange pick up of your kit.

Qualifying RSR Activities you can attend:  

  • Baby Tales (Ages Birth - 18 mos) - First Tuesday of the month @ 10:30 am
  • Storytime Friends (Birth - 3 yrs+) - Every Wednesday @ 10:30 am
  • Tech Tuesday (All Ages) - Every Tuesday @ 3:15-4:15.
