Event Details

Stop by the Children's Department any time during the month of September for the following ongoing activities.  Ask for details at the Children's Desk:

--Monthly Scavenger Hunt:  Participate in our month long pirate themed in-house scavenger hunt.  All ages.

--Monthly Activity Kits:  For children of all ages, ask for an Tissue Apple Craft Kit, or a Secret Agent in training STEM Kit!   Kits are available starting August 1st!  No registration, but while supplies last.

--Library Card Sign Up Month:  Quit ‘Dragon’ Your Heels and Get a Library Card! For Library Card Sign Up Month, we have a nesting library dragon who wants to share North Shelby Library’s book-horde this September!  Sign up your child for a new library card at the Circulation Desk in the month of September.  Not only will they be able to check out library books, but if they show their new card to the Children’s Department library dragon, she will let them hatch a dragon egg for a surprise!
