Event Details

Learn about the origins, various species, varieties, and forms of camellias. Learn about plant propagation, fertilization, and pest control. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. Presented by Cindy Warriner

About the Presenter:

Cindy and her husband, Tom, started competing in Camellia shows in 1994. They went on to become American Camellia Society certified judges and travel annually to several southern states to judge at Camellia shows. They also have taught judge recertification classes. 

 

Cindy served as Secretary, President, and co-show judge chairman of the Fort Walton Beach Camellia Society. After moving to Birmingham, Cindy and Tom immediately joined the Birmingham Camellia Society. Since joining the Birmingham club, she has served as Secretary and President, worked on several projects, and now serves as Historian
