Event Details

Stop by the Children's Department any time during the month of August for the following ongoing activities.  Ask for details at the Children's Desk:

--Monthly Scavenger Hunt:  Participate in our month long colorful crayon themed in-house scavenger hunt.  Turn in your completed entry for a chance to win a box of  64 pack crayons at the end of the month! All ages.

--Monthly Activity Kits:   We have three different activity kits to choose from.  For our tweens (7-12 yrs), our popular Tween Break-In Bags are back!    For children of all ages, ask for an I Love Puppy Magnet Craft Kit, or a Make Your Own Flute STEM Kit!   Kits are available starting August 1st!  No registration, but while supplies last.

--Eye Spy Challenge:  Stop by the Children's Department for our month-long Eye Spy challenge.  What can you spy? Turn in your entry form an pick a prize from our sticker box. All ages.

--Books for Building: LEGO tower:  When you borrow books show your check out recept to a Children's Department staff member.  Show us your checked out books, and get 3 LEGO bricks to add to our LEGO tower. How high can we make it go? All ages.
