Event Details

February 17 - February 20

Once again, the North Shelby Library is encouraging families to participate in the Annual Great Backyard Bird Count, a citizen science research project that has been ongoing annually for 26 years.    Each February, for four days, the world comes together for the love of birds. Over these four days participating scientists invite people to spend time in their favorite places watching and counting as many birds as they can find and reporting them to the scientists.
You can then input your results along with birdwatchers from all over the world.

Visit https://www.birdcount.org/ to learn more, and find out how to participate in this program!
